God's Word
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s Word, divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and written through human authors (2 Peter 1:21). Scripture is “God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16), making it completely true and trustworthy in everything it affirms (Psalm 19:7; John 17:17). Because God is the ultimate Author, it is without error in its original manuscripts and remains the final authority for what we believe and how we live.
The Bible reveals God’s character and His plan of salvation, serves as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), and is sufficient for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17). All of Scripture points to Jesus Christ as the center of God’s redemptive plan (Luke 24:27; John 5:39).

The Trinity
We believe in one living and true God who exists eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). These three are co-equal and co-eternal, each fully and equally God, yet one in essence (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 10:30).
God the Father is the Creator and Ruler of all (Genesis 1:1). He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, holy, and perfectly loving (Psalm 145:8-9; 1 John 3:1). He hears our prayers and works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
God the Son is fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9). Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitute for sinners, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to heaven, and will return in glory (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11).
God the Holy Spirit is fully God (Acts 5:3-4). He inspired Scripture (2 Peter 1:21), convicts the world of sin (John 16:8), gives new spiritual life (John 3:5-6), indwells believers (1 Corinthians 6:19), guides them in truth (John 14:26), produces spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22-23), and seals them for the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14).

Salvation
We believe that all people have sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23) and are therefore in need of salvation. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, accomplished by Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
We receive salvation by repenting of sin and trusting in Christ alone (Mark 1:15; Acts 16:31). At that moment, God forgives our sins, justifies us by faith (Romans 5:1), and makes us new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). Believers then grow in holiness through the Spirit’s work (Philippians 2:13) and look forward to eternal life with God, free from sin and suffering (Philippians 3:20-21; Revelation 21:4).

The Church
We believe the Church is the community of all true believers in Christ. Locally, a church is a gathered fellowship of baptized believers in covenant relationship, committed to worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, and the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Acts 2:41-42; Hebrews 10:24-25). Each congregation operates under the Lordship of Christ, governed by His Word, and led by qualified pastors and deacons (Philippians 1:1; 1 Peter 5:1-4).
The universal Church consists of all believers in every generation and nation who are united in Christ (Ephesians 2:19-22; Revelation 7:9-10). Jesus is the Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22-23), and believers are called to serve, love, and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).
Teachers in the Word exists to serve and equip believers, but we are not a church. We do not replace the worship, fellowship, or accountability God has designed for a local body of believers. We encourage everyone involved in our ministry to be actively connected to a gospel-preaching, Bible-believing local church for discipleship and service.
